Role:

• Install, test and repair satellite and network equipment including network hardware, earth stations, remote terminals and equipment suites.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct installation, testing and commissioning of earth stations, subsystems, and fixed and mobile VSAT terminals
• Must be able to assemble equipment, cables and structures using a variety of machine shop and electronics tools such as soldering, crimping, drilling, wrenches, drills, saws, etc...
• Must be familiar with standard VSAT practices such as peaking and poling antennas
• Must be able to load and install various software applications and basic configuration of devices such as Cisco routers, firewalls and call managers
• Must be "customer-centric" and have good social interaction skills as well as the ability to think on your feet under pressure
• Will be required to perform NOC Help Desk duties from time to time
