HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Role:

• Provide responsive and professional technical assistance to VSAT terminal operators from the Knight Sky Satellite Network Operations Center

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily help desk and customer service support (Tier 1)
• Conduct daily monitoring of the network and associated equipment
• Conduct periodic performance testing of network services
• Conduct Remote Terminal activation, deactivation and configurations
• Assist with configuration of all voice , video and data services
• Comply with the process and procedures established for routine tasks such as:

     ˜ Request for Service(RFS) Forms,
     ˜ Service Level Agreement configuration
     ˜ Service Level Agreement (SLA) Reports (monthly)

• Maintain a daily log of activities, equipment alarms and trouble tickets
• Seek self improvement and continue your education through training and coursework
