Role:

• Monitor and maintain quality levels for the telecommunications network and resolves problems with transmission quality pertaining to network architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the IP architecture plan to support all data, voice and video services
• Provide daily component monitoring, proactive fault isolation and troubleshooting of all network components and devices
• Coordinate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to develop a Network Security and Information Assurance (IA) plan to ensure network IA compliance
• Maintain Configuration Control, and maintenance logs of all Network application servers and devices
• Establish and maintain a VoIP dialing plan and coordination to host PBX or PSTN gateway
• Establish and maintain a Video Teleconference capability and coordinate with the customer end points
• Manage multi-vendor maintenance agreements to ensure network performance and interoperability
